Actually THE most important rule is missing: the one who shoots the ball away (when missing the goal) is going to get it (from were it landed) Without that, this list is not just incomplete, but just pathetic :P

Rick Omeasoo

A brilliant moment from childhood was when me and a friend were kicking a ball on the park and some of the cooler and older kids from school gradually joined in. After a bit, one of them who'd arrived later, stopped the game and said to the 2 of us, we have prearranged a game, sorry but you can't play. His face when we said ok and walked off with the (only) ball was a picture.

Are people really forgetting the MOST iconic thing;

Aubrey Bettie

And there's always one kid who thinks he's Ronaldo and tries to dribble everyone without passing the ball

Jamillah Al-amin Fuller

"Rush Keeper" - whoever is furthest back is automatically the goalkeeper, this can change at any moment

Good stuff. In addition: - more stressful than a ball under the car; a ball in a ditch, canal, pond or any other body of water. Or in someone's garden. - two jackets on the ground mark goal posts and a crossbar. How high the goal is, is to be determined by shouting between both teams whenever the occasion arises. - when the ball goes out, the opposite team doesn't automatically get to throw in. Instead the rule of 'heppie hep' can be invoked, which means 'whoever gots it, gots it'.

Fat guys always as goal keeper... poor fatty wants to exercise and you put him on the laziest position.

Ginger Bugielski

Than theres that kid who has to eat and takes the ball with him, ruining it for everyone

Lilia Soriano Castillo

- Use our sandals or slipper as a goal - Paused game when there's car or bike passing through (if you played on the street) - in tropical country, when the sun come down is the end of the game. If you still play, your parents will beat you up when you got home.

Livia Holguin Crooks

How come kids around the world apply the same rules even though they are not in contact with each other?

Lauren Langley

#12 there is no out, ball 20 meters behind the goal? doesnt matter, dribble your way back to the field.

Malcolm King

I can, sorta... It was often but not always like that...

Marsha Felton

i think everyone on the planet can relate, except Americans :p

11. When money is at stake, berserk mode is activated.

Erf Shiela Brito

let me add another point - streets is out pitch, game is pause and everyone freeze until vehicle passed over - there is always one player who do nothing but some kind of useless style

Vanu Vekaria

The goal is marked by clothes or bags and the height of the goal is determined if the keeper jumped or not, even if the ball is clearly over you have a RIGHT to argue if the keeper doesnt jump

Deana Williams

11. If you score with your ass, it counts twice
