Phi hành tím băm với 1 muỗng canh dầu ăn cho tôm vào xào, nêm 1/2 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm. Rồi chút tôm xào ra đĩa. Pha mắm trộn gỏi gồm: 1 muỗng canh nước mắm, 1 muỗng canh đường, 1 muỗng canh nước cốt chanh, 1 muỗng canh tỏi băm, 2 muỗng canh nước, ớt khuấy đều lên (tỷ lệ pha theo khẩu vị mỗi gia đình).
Cho bưởi, tôm, mực khô, cà rốt, dưa chuột vào bát tô xóc đều lên. Từ từ rưới phần nước mắm trộn vào âu và trộn đều để khoảng 5 phút cho gỏi bưởi ngấm vị là được.
Cho gỏi ra đĩa, ăn kèm với bánh chiên phồng. Gỏi bưởi tôm mực khô với những múi bưởi mộng nước, chua chua, ngọt ngọt cùng với khô mực nướng xé sợi, tôm tươi xào cùng hỗn hợp nước mắm chua cay mặn ngọt, đậm đà.
